Botanical Reverie began in memory.
During my years as a newborn photographer, I collected delicate silk and paper florals to style sessions - each one quietly tied to the tenderness of new life. When that chapter closed, the flowers remained. They were no longer props, but keepsakes.
I arranged them slowly, guided more by feeling than form, and photographed them in natural light. But I wanted the image to move beyond photography. So I layered digital brushwork over the composition, painting into the photograph until it felt softened, atmospheric, and timeless - something closer to canvas than lens.
Botanical Reverie is a reflection of that transition. A piece shaped by memory, reimagined through artistry, and created as an invitation to slow down and savor beauty for its own sake.
