Hydrangeas have always been part of my story.
They bloom throughout my gardens each season, and they were the flowers I carried in my wedding bouquet. Over time, they’ve become quiet markers of memory - familiar, steady, and deeply personal.
This photograph was taken early one morning, just steps from my back deck. The petals were covered in dew, softened by the first light of day.
To preserve that stillness, I deepened the tones and darkened the background slightly, drawing attention to the way each droplet caught the light. The result feels both intimate and expansive - a moment suspended before the day fully begins.
Dew Kissed Hydrangea is a reflection of that pause - beauty observed closely, and held just a little longer.
