The story behind Paul Cézanne’s Four Seasons, from Aether’s founder, Carrie-Ann:

This puzzle began with a simple admiration: four individual paintings by Paul Cézanne, each depicting a different season, yet together forming something much greater than the sum of their parts.  Each painting has its own tone, its own energy, and yet they speak to one another in a quiet, cohesive way. I knew immediately I wanted to bring them together into a single piece—a collage that could tell a unified story through the changing seasons.

But what makes this puzzle truly special is something you might not notice at first.

Behind the seasonal panels, I layered another of Cézanne’s works—Avenue of Chestnut Trees at the Jas de Bouffan—as the canvas for the background. It’s a subtle inclusion, but one that adds depth and atmosphere, tying the entire composition together with texture and memory.
