Grocery Store - Perkins Harnly
- Made to order in the USA
About the Design:
Grocery Store captures neighborhood shopping before supermarkets and widespread prepackaged food. Clerks measured staples from bins, barrels, drawers, and jars, weighed purchases by hand, and served customers from behind the counter. Harnly’s scales, labeled containers, shelving, and work surfaces document a more personal and labor-intensive system of buying everyday goods.
Colors have been carefully adjusted for clarity and vibrancy in puzzle form.
