About the Design:

Long before snapshots were shared instantly, postcards carried images of New York City around the world. This collage gathers vintage views of familiar landmarks, busy streets, bridges, parks, skyscrapers, and the changing Manhattan skyline. Seen together, the cards capture both the grandeur and everyday energy of a city continually rebuilding and reinventing itself.
